My job gives me the chance to meet celebrities, but honestly, I wouldn’t recognize many of them outside of work. I probably wouldn’t even be able to tell the real celebrity apart from imposters, meaning I’d definitely lose the $10,000 prize someone is offering for correctly identifying the real one.
In a setup that looks like Netflix’s Is It Cake?, only the cakes are famous people, Mr. Beast had a woman check out five “celebrities” which included Drake, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Kevin Hart, and Sabrina Carpenter. The trick was that only one of the five celebrities was the real person. The woman had to keep her distance, which made the game a little tougher, but she pulled it off. Check out the video and see if you do.

Some of the impersonators don’t quite hit the mark – the Drake lookalike doesn’t really resemble Drake, and the Justin Bieber one doesn’t seem accurate, though Bieber’s appearance could have changed. However, the other three are convincing, especially when viewed from a distance.
I still question whether that Ed Sheeran lookalike wasn’t actually the real Ed Sheeran. Could there have been two celebrities present, and they simply kept it a secret? While the real Ed Sheeran probably has more noticeable tattoos, this lookalike is so convincing he could easily win a contest – and might even be mistaken for the actual singer.
I have to admit, even knowing Kevin Hart was there, I struggled to pick him out in the video! He said his face was doing its usual thing, but honestly, I didn’t really see that. I’m so used to seeing him smile and be energetic, so seeing him look so serious made it hard to believe it was really him. It was a bit of a surprise!
To be honest, I often feel uncomfortable with many of MrBeast’s most popular videos. They often seem to focus on showcasing ordinary people competing for money in over-the-top ways. Though, it’s possible I’m simply envious that I don’t have the resources to do something similar myself.
This game is pretty enjoyable and offers a good level of challenge. The prize money is significant enough to be exciting, but not so much that losing wouldn’t be devastating. And on top of that, you get to meet someone famous – it’s a pretty good opportunity overall.
