On September 7, the MTV Video Music Awards 2025 commenced, drawing some of the biggest names in music to the UBS Arena in New York. These celebrities donned their most daring fashion ensembles for the occasion.
At the red carpet event, Doja Cat attracted attention in a vibrant diamond checkered mini dress with a deep neckline embellished with shimmering pink stones. On the other hand, Gabby Windey of Bachelor Nation opted for a revealing black lace gown featuring stunning cuts.
The upcoming Moon Person awards show, hosted by LL Cool J, promises to be as competitive as the fashion world, with several trophies at stake. For the first time, it will air on CBS, stream live on Paramount+, and simulcast on MTV.
In this rephrased version, Lady Gaga received an impressive 12 nominations and is competing for Artist of the Year alongside Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Morgan Wallen. Bruno Mars, who worked with her on “Die With a Smile,” is not far behind with 11 nominations prior to the event.

Regarding the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Mariah Carey now finds herself among the esteemed company of previous recipients including Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Pink, Jennifer Lopez, and Rihanna.
Simultaneously, Busta Rhymes received the first-ever Rock the Bells Visionary Award, while Ricky Martin was bestowed the inaugural Latin Icon Award.
However, the stars being talked about earlier were merely those destined for a Lunar Performer. This year’s roster was jam-packed with well-known artists too, such as Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Tate McRae, and Conan Gray.
