Wired Productions and ReadGraves have revealed a new multiplayer party game called *Task Time* which will be available on PC (Steam). While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, players can try it out now in a public playtest running until October 1st.
According to Wired Productions managing director Leo Zullo, playing Task Time turns even the calmest people into wildly enthusiastic and competitive players. He says this is all the proof he needs that ReadGraves has created a fantastically fun and chaotic party game.
Sam Read-Graves, founder of ReadGraves, explained that *Task Time* was created as a playful experiment – what would happen if you combined the energy of a gameshow, realistic physics, and a group of friends? The result is a competitive, chaotic, and unpredictable game where every round is unique. *Task Time* is all about having fun, laughing at each other’s successes and failures, and gleefully sabotaging your friends. With constantly changing rules and no concern for fairness, the game prioritizes creating memorable, shareable moments. Read-Graves expressed excitement about partnering with Wired Productions on this journey into chaos, jokingly adding that they initially aimed to create something like *WarioWare*, but decided to forge their own path instead.

Here is an overview of the game, via Wired Productions:
Task Time is a hilarious game for up to eight players where you compete in six fast-paced, game show-style rounds. Expect playful sabotage, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs!
Created by the team behind popular games like *Fall Guys* and *Gang Beasts*, *Task Time* is a hilarious party game where wacky, randomly chosen challenges and player competition combine for unpredictable and chaotic fun.
Task Time is all about unpredictable and hilarious fun! In each of its six fast-paced rounds, players (called Tasklings) can tackle over half a million different random challenges. You might be solving a puzzle one second, then dodging paintballs or running from rising lava the next. No matter the outcome, every match creates a memorable story filled with crazy comebacks, epic fails, and playful sabotage that you’ll be laughing about for ages.
