The anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will return on July 5th in Japan, as previously announced for the Summer 2026 season. A new trailer was revealed at AnimeJapan 2026 this weekend, giving fans a sneak peek at the upcoming episodes. The trailer highlighted a major focus on the character Eris, with a dedicated story arc centered around her training. You can watch the trailer below.
When Does Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Come Out?
I’m looking forward to the third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, which is set to premiere in Japan on July 5th as part of the Summer 2026 anime lineup. As of right now, though, we don’t know where it will be streaming internationally. Luckily, the first two seasons are available on Crunchyroll, and many of us are hoping they’ll pick up the third season as well. Beyond the release date, some other details about the new season have also been shared.
The third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will debut with a new opening song, “Ketsui no Uta,” sung by Yuiko Ohara. Several familiar voice actors are returning, including Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Haruka Tomatsu as Nina Farion, and Tetsu Inada as Gal Farion. Fans have been wondering what happened to Eris after her mysterious disappearance at the end of season one (which deeply affected Rudeus), and season three will finally reveal her story.
What’s Next for Eris in Mushoku Tensei Season 3?
The latest preview for Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation reveals what Eris has been up to since leaving Rudeus. After their first intimate encounter, she departed, and Rudeus struggled with the aftermath. Now, it’s clear Eris has been diligently training her swordsmanship, determined to become much more powerful.
The new trailer hints that Eris has been training and will play a major role in the upcoming season. This is welcome news, especially since we didn’t get her side of the story last season. Now, fans are eager to see how her reunion with Rudeus will unfold when they meet again.
