My Hero Academia’s Creator Has Big Plans for the Final Season
The highly anticipated final season of “My Hero Academia” is gearing up for a screen debut this October, as part of the Fall 2025 anime lineup. During its panel at Anime Expo 2025 (where ComicBook was present), creator Horikoshi revealed that since he has finished work on the manga, he can now put more effort into the anime’s final season. He hinted that these additional efforts will include never-before-seen scenes that were not part of the original manga’s final arc.
With the conclusion of the manga for “My Hero Academia”, Horikoshi has found more time to collaborate closely with the production team on the anime. This collaboration has allowed him to propose additional scenes and deeper emotional dimensions to the performances. Although specifics about these new scenes are not yet revealed, the prospect of fresh content from the original creator himself adds an extra layer of anticipation to the final season. It promises to be the most comprehensive portrayal of that epic finale.
