The intense fight between Izuku Midoriya and Shigaraki is over in My Hero Academia, and the anime is quickly approaching its finale – just a few episodes remain! Since its debut in 2016, this action-packed superhero series has become incredibly popular worldwide. To mark the end of the conflict between Class 1-A and the Paranormal Liberation Front, the series creator, Kohei Horikoshi, has revealed a special gift for fans, including one character’s death and another’s exciting new beginning.
Please be aware that the following contains spoilers for the most recent episode of the My Hero Academia anime. The final battle has taken a dramatic turn! Deku is risking everything by entering Shigaraki’s mind with the help of past One For All users. However, All For One has taken control of Shigaraki, twisting his mind and ushering in an era of darkness. Fortunately, Deku receives crucial support from his friends, allowing them to fight back against this powerful foe. In a surprising turn, Shigaraki and Deku briefly team up to defeat All For One, but this victory comes at a cost – Shigaraki’s body is destroyed in the process. To commemorate this pivotal moment and the impact of these characters, the creator, Horikoshi, has released new artwork featuring both Deku and Shigaraki.

The Future of UA
Even though the battle against Shigaraki and All For One is over in My Hero Academia, the anime isn’t finished yet. Fans are now entering what’s being called the “epilogue,” with several upcoming episodes focusing on what happens after the huge fight. Viewers who haven’t read the manga might be surprised by how much time jumps forward to show the future lives of these characters. And even when the anime concludes later this year, the world of My Hero Academia will continue to expand thanks to the creator, Horikoshi.
Fans can look forward to the second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes next year, bringing back popular characters like Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckle Duster. Given how much of the story remains to be adapted, the series could continue for several seasons beyond the upcoming one. As for movies, the creators haven’t ruled out future theatrical releases after My Hero Academia: You’re Next, potentially showing more adventures following the final battle with All For One. With the heroes continuing to fight crime, Studio BONES might return to animate those stories. UA Academy has had a huge impact on the anime world, and fans are hoping to see more from the franchise in the future.
