The final season of *My Hero Academia* has already delivered some surprising twists in just two episodes. Deku is still battling Shigaraki, while All For One is actively working to reconnect with him. Things are looking grim for All Might, who is weakened after a villain killed Stain and stole his abilities, further threatening the stability of Hero Society. Despite the challenges facing UA Academy, the series creator, Kohei Horikoshi, recently revealed new designs for the winners of a fan popularity poll.
Recently, *My Hero Academia* held a fan poll to determine the most popular heroes and villains in the series – a common practice for this type of action-packed anime. Along with announcing the winners, the series’ creator, Kohei Horikoshi, drew new artwork of the top vote-getters, showing he’s still a skilled artist even after the show concluded last year. You can see the new art below, and here’s a list of who fans voted for as the most popular characters.
Here’s a list of characters: Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Shota Aizawa, Eijiro Kirishima, Endeavor, Hawks, Dabi, Shigaraki, and Neito Monoma.
My Hero Academia: Is The End The Beginning?
The last season before the current one of *My Hero Academia* saw some important characters defeated, and that’s reflected in this popularity poll. Key battles, like the one between Shoto Todoroki and Dabi, are already over. Hawks, the second-highest-ranked hero, lost his powers to All For One, making it unlikely he’ll be able to help All Might and Deku in the final episodes. Even though many fights have concluded, the outcome of the battle against the Demon Lord and his top lieutenant will ultimately decide the fate of the anime’s world.
Even after the main *My Hero Academia* anime finishes, fans can still look forward to more content set in the same universe. A second season of *My Hero Academia: Vigilantes* is coming, bringing back the popular characters Crawler, Knuckleduster, and Pop Step after their successful first season. While we likely won’t see many of the most popular heroes from the main series in this spin-off, some familiar faces will appear thanks to the story exploring both the present and past of the *My Hero Academia* world.
There’s a chance we’ll see another full-length *My Hero Academia* movie focusing on Class 1-A. While it hasn’t been officially announced, the previous movie, *My Hero Academia: You’re Next*, wasn’t confirmed as the last one, and the manga’s ending leaves room for a fifth film with exciting new stories. Hopefully, we’ll find out about the future of UA Academy on the big screen soon.
