My Hero Academia Shares a Gift With The Fans Before The End

The anime My Hero Academia will conclude with its final episode very soon, and there are still some important events and surprises planned for this week. Now that the villains All For One and Shigaraki have been defeated, the story will focus on what comes next and how heroes will rebuild. After delivering some highly anticipated moments in the second-to-last episode, Studio BONES has one final surprise in store before we finish Izuku Midoriya’s journey and say goodbye to Class 1-A at UA Academy.

Studio Bones, the animation studio behind My Hero Academia, is known for other popular series like Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. As My Hero Academia nears its end after eight seasons, Studio Bones is focusing on new projects. They plan to continue working on the Gachiakuta series and are collaborating with creator Hiromu Arakawa again on Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Before the series concludes, Studio Bones has shared a preview of the young heroes preparing to graduate and become professional crime fighters.

What Lies Ahead For Deku?

The ending of My Hero Academia is likely to spark debate among fans, especially if it closely follows the manga’s conclusion. Many readers were confused by the choices Deku made after losing his powers, One For All. Though Izuku Midoriya won’t become the next Symbol of Peace like All Might, he ultimately finds his place within Hero Society after the conflict with the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Currently, it’s still uncertain if we’ll see Deku’s class featured again. However, there’s a small possibility regarding the future of the My Hero Academia series. After the fourth movie, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, Studio BONES hasn’t announced any plans for future films, but they haven’t ruled out the possibility of a fifth movie either.

Good news for fans! While the main My Hero Academia story may be ending, we’ll still be getting more from Kohei Horikoshi’s world. The second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes arrives in January, continuing the adventures of Crawler and his team as they work outside the law. Don’t expect to see Class 1-A, but if the spin-off stays true to the manga, you can anticipate appearances from some well-known characters from the original series.
