My Hero Academia Shares New Look at Anime’s Real Finale Ahead of Return

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, My Hero Academia is giving fans one last gift! After the series ended last year, Studio BONES announced a final episode to wrap up the story of UA Academy. This extra episode will adapt some content from the manga’s ending that wasn’t included in the original anime finale. We’ll see an updated look at Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco as adults, and how they deal with some important emotions before the story of Class 1-A comes to a close.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of My Hero Academia, Studio BONES has released two new posters showcasing both the history of UA Academy and a glimpse into the future for the now-grown heroes. As a special treat for fans, the first three seasons of the anime will be available to stream for free on the official My Hero Academia YouTube channel. This is a chance to relive the early adventures of Class 1-A – check the schedule below to see when you can revisit this exciting superhero world.

My Hero Graduation

Currently, the upcoming episode, “More,” is being presented as the last installment of any My Hero Academia content, especially since a third season of the spin-off My Hero Academia: Vigilantes hasn’t been announced. If the spin-off continues to follow the original manga, viewers can probably expect at least one more season to finish the story of Crawler, Knuckleduster, and Pop Step, and possibly even more. As for the main series, the animation studio BONES hasn’t said whether they plan to make a fifth movie, even though the last film, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, wasn’t promoted as the final movie adaptation.

It’s likely Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the series, is enjoying a well-deserved break after dedicating so much time to Deku’s story. He’s mentioned before that he might return to manga with a horror project. Whatever he does next, it will be hard to top the impact of Deku and his heroic friends.
