My Hero Academia Shares New Preview For Final Season’s Second Episode: “The End of An Era”

The final season of *My Hero Academia* has started, and the tension is building even though the first episode didn’t show the battle between Deku and Shigaraki. While Toshinori Yagi can no longer use his All Might form, he’s still risking everything to fight All For One. Using a high-tech suit built into his vehicle, Hercules, the former hero is doing all he can, but a recent preview suggests this season might be his last.

The preview for the final season of *My Hero Academia*, aptly named “The End of An Era,” shows things are getting difficult for All Might. Surprisingly, hero killer Stain appears and uses his Quirk to restrain All For One, hoping to help All Might and give Deku a chance. The episode description asks if Stain’s ability to stop blood flow, combined with All Might’s secret strategy, will be enough to defeat All For One. You can watch the preview below.

My Hero Academia Will Continue Past Season 8

Although it doesn’t seem like the creator of *My Hero Academia*, Kohei Horikoshi, will revisit the world of Class 1-A in the future, the story isn’t over yet. The spin-off series, *My Hero Academia: Vigilantes*, is getting a second season, meaning fans will see more of the heroes who fight crime outside the law. We’ll see the return of characters like Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster, and the show will also explore the history of UA Academy, showing what life was like for teachers like Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Midnight when they were younger. While *Vigilantes* focuses on new characters, future seasons could reveal important backstory for the main series’ heroes.

Although it hasn’t been officially announced, there’s a chance we’ll see another full-length *My Hero Academia* movie. The previous film, *My Hero Academia: You’re Next*, wasn’t explicitly stated as the end of the story, and fans of the manga know there’s potential for Izuku Midoriya to return. If a new movie is made, it will likely have a different storyline and take place at a different point in the overall timeline. Considering the success of the first four films, Studio BONES might decide to create another cinematic adventure in the *My Hero Academia* universe.
