In the tenth episode of Marriagetoxin, Hikaru Gero and his team continue their dangerous journey across the isolated island, fighting against the Beast Clan and their leader, Toshiro Dogo, in an attempt to foil his evil plans. As the episode unfolds, Arashiyama struggles with feelings of inadequacy, but a flashback to her childhood provides context. It’s revealed that Hikaru saved her from abuse by the Beast Clan when they were both children, and she’s admired him ever since. This backstory adds emotional weight to their relationship, especially considering both characters are assassins who share a difficult past and similar trauma from their childhoods.
Meanwhile, Gero, who has little to no experience with romance, is perfectly complemented by Arashiyama’s bubbly personality. Out of all the potential matches introduced in the series, Arashiyama stands out as the ideal partner.
