The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia is ending soon, with the final episode just days away. Fans are eager to know what the last installment will cover, and a new preview has offered a glimpse of what’s to come. It appears the finale will jump ahead in time, showing us an adult version of Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and other exciting visuals.
Following the battles against All For One and Shigaraki, the heroes of Class 1-A have been working to restore Hero Society after the widespread damage caused by the Paranormal Liberation Front. The recent episode finally allowed Izuku and Ochaco to share their feelings after the intense final war. The upcoming final episode promises significant reveals and moments for many characters. While it’s currently unknown if the episode will be extended, it might be longer to fully adapt the story from the manga. Check out the preview images below for a sneak peek.

The Heroes’ Grand Finale
After the manga’s final chapter of My Hero Academia was first released in Weekly Shonen Jump, creator Kohei Horikoshi decided to add more content. He revisited the ending to expand on the future stories of Class 1-A. While Horikoshi hasn’t announced any plans for a sequel or spin-off series, it’s possible the anime universe still has more to offer.
Starting in January next year, a new series called My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will explore the world of heroes who fight crime outside the law. Because the story takes place long before Deku enters Class 1-A, you won’t see the vigilantes interacting with the main characters from the anime, although some familiar supporting heroes might make appearances. This spin-off focuses on the younger days of characters like Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Midnight, showing how they became the pro heroes we know.
While a fifth My Hero Academia movie hasn’t been officially announced, the previous film, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, didn’t suggest it would be the last. Since the movies fit into the show’s timeline, if Studio BONES makes another one, it will likely take place after the main series ends, possibly showing the heroes as adults continuing to fight crime.
