If you loved the 2008 romantic comedy manga “My Little Monster,” you’ll be excited to know that its author, Robico, has launched a brand-new manga in the publication “Young Magazine.” For those who appreciate stories about assassins and hitmen, similar to “Sakamoto Days” or “Spy x Family,” or for fans of the classic vampire theme seen in “Call Of The Night” or “Vampire Knight,” “Young Magazine” offers a new read. Whether you’re eager for the next manga from the creator of “My Little Monster” or craving a fresh take on vampires, be sure to check out Robico’s debut of “To Dusk and Twilight.

The Vampire and the Hitman

In a surprising encounter on a bridge, an unassuming older man finds himself confronted by a peculiar high school-aged girl who identifies herself as a vampire. After waking up in a strange apartment, this vampire tries to feed on the man but finds herself unable. It’s later revealed that she finds feeding on strangers difficult and distasteful, and her late adoptive mother had instructed her not to do so. However, when a group of debt collectors threaten the girl, the man steps in, disclosing his profession as an assassin. This leads to an unlikely alliance between the assassin and the vampire – the former offering sustenance to the latter and the latter providing the human with a new purpose to live on.

An assassin and a vampire might seem like an unlikely pair, but their unusual dynamics are certain to capture your attention. Each character is intriguing individually: one on the brink of death and the other unable to fulfill her nature as a vampire. But when they come together, with the vampire providing the hitman a reason to live by making him her sustenance, it creates an intriguing narrative. Whether you’ve managed to get your hands on a hard copy of ‘Young Magazine’ or found the digital version online for free, don’t miss out on the manga premiere of ‘To Dusk and Twilight’ starting from page 119.

If you find yourself enjoying “To Dusk and Twilight,” and we believe you will, manga enthusiasts have the opportunity to vote for their favorite among 16 potential series to continue being serialized in English.
