Good news for fans of classic adventure games! Following the recent discovery of PlayStation 5 trophy information for the Riven remake, it’s now confirmed that the Myst remake is also being released on Sony’s console. This update was posted on March 9th, 2026, at 12:30pm.
Trophy lists for the updated versions of Myst and Riven have appeared on PSNProfiles, strongly suggesting they will soon be released on the PlayStation 5.
These games are timeless classics in the world of first-person puzzle games. Created by Cyan Worlds, they offer intriguing and mysterious puzzle adventures where you’ll explore strange and beautiful environments while uncovering their unique stories.
The remakes bring back these iconic titles with revamped visuals and modernised gameplay.
We don’t have exact dates for when these games will be released on PS5 yet, but the recent appearance of Trophy lists suggests they’ll be available soon.

Original Story: It looks as though the remake of Riven is due to release imminently on PS5.
I first played this game way back in ’97 – it’s a really cool first-person puzzle adventure. It got a complete overhaul and remake by Cyan Worlds for PC in 2024, which was awesome. And now, it looks like we console gamers are finally getting a chance to play it too!
Gematsu reports that a list of trophies found on Exophase suggests upcoming content, with the trophy artwork aligning with the designs of achievements already available on Steam for the game’s remake.
There are 35 Trophies in total, including the platinum.
Both the classic adventure games Myst and Riven are available as PlayStation 1 classics on the PlayStation Store, but this new release features significant updates and changes.
The game now features significantly improved graphics and a fully explorable, real-time 3D world. Unlike the original, which used pre-rendered scenes and limited movement, you can now move freely and experience a dynamic environment.
We imagine an official announcement must be close if the Trophy list is showing up.
