Natalie Portman Shares Letter to Her, Benjamin Millepied’s 2 Kids

Natalie Portman has some sparkling words of wisdom for her kids.

Natalie Portman wrote a heartfelt letter to her children, 14-year-old Aleph and 8-year-old Amelia, offering them advice about love. The letter was addressed to both of them and her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied.

In the new Tiffany & Co. campaign film, which premiered at the 2026 Oscars on March 15th, Natalie shared a powerful message: inner strength isn’t something you discover, it’s something you create. She explained that it’s built through finding your resolve when you’re unsure, clarity when you’re confused, and happiness in the simple things.

While filming a commercial reminiscent of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and showcasing beautiful locations around New York City—including a gorgeous view of Central Park—the Academy Award-winning actress kept reading her letter.

You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to truly live, and it really comes down to those personal moments – the joyful ones, the tough ones, even the messy ones. As the new face of this beautiful jewelry brand, I’ve been reflecting on how we connect with ourselves, and I’ve realized it’s in those quiet, individual experiences – at a table for one, really feeling things – that we find our strength. It’s okay to not have it all together! In fact, embracing imperfection is where the magic happens and where we grow the most. It’s about being authentically you, flaws and all, and finding joy in the present moment.

She finished by saying you’ll discover true love when you stop looking for it and simply love yourself. That’s the most crucial love of all, she added, sending her love with a final ‘With love, Mom.’

After finalizing her divorce from the choreographer in March 2024, the 44-year-old actress – who won an Oscar for her role in Black Swan in 2011 – has been finding comfort and joy in being a mother.

Watching my kids grow is the most amazing thing – it’s incredible to see them become themselves. And honestly, I’ve been loving spending time with my friends and our kids all together. It’s just a really fun, special time, and I’m soaking it all in. I shared this with Jenna Ortega when I spoke with her for Interview magazine back in April 2025.

Natalie has enjoyed being a mother, but she always knew she wanted to continue working as a photographer.

She shared that she was thrilled to start a family with someone she deeply loved. She also explained how valuable it is to have people around you who offer a sense of reality and keep you grounded.

The 2026 Oscars offered more than just Natalie’s popular campaign video. Here’s a look at some other highlights you might have missed…

By the end of the night, the directors of Sinners and One Battle After Another were celebrating a major milestone: Ryan Coogler had just won his first Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, and Paul Thomas Anderson (PTA) had won his first for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Jenner joined Timothée Chalamet at the Oscars as his date, marking the second consecutive year she’s accompanied him to the ceremony. Chalamet was nominated for Best Actor.

Kylie Jenner was thrilled to see Elle Fanning, who starred alongside her boyfriend in the 2025 film A Complete Unknown and is nominated this year for Best Supporting Actress.

As other people began enjoying the snacks provided by Conan O’Brien, Taylor was congratulating the casting director of One Battle After Another for making history by winning the very first Academy Award for Best Casting.

The host left another note with the gift, this time saying, “I hope you like this Conan O’Brien ‘Moderately Happy Meal’™. These snacks don’t look like a lot, but they’d cost around $85 at the movies!”

The Frankenstein star made the rounds in between awards.

Weaver struggled to keep a straight face as the pair went on stage to announce the winners for Best Production Design (awarded to Frankenstein) and Best Visual Effects (Avatar: Fire & Ash).

Infiniti was overjoyed with how her acting debut in One Battle After Another was going.

Mark Sonnenblick desperately tried to prevent the commercial break from interrupting, but failed. It cut off one of his songwriting colleagues while they were accepting the award for Best Original Song – a historic win for the show, ‘Golden’.

Although Madison won Best Actress last year, the recent reunion was still meaningful and enjoyable.

The front row at the Marty Supreme show had plenty of space for family, with Timothée Chalamet joined by his sister and Kylie Jenner for the evening.

The 2003 Best Actress winner didn’t mind whiling away a few more of the hours at the 2026 Oscars.

Leonardo DiCaprio was there to celebrate Jordan’s win after a strong finish in the voting for Best Actor.
