NBA 2K26 came out last fall, and the team at Visual Concepts has been improving the game with updates ever since. Now that a new year has begun, 2K26 is starting Season 4, bringing with it lots of new items and player cards to unlock, depending on how you like to play. But the biggest news might be the return of a popular park from the MyCareer mode. For the first time since NBA 2K16, players can revisit the Rivet City Championship Park, offering a nostalgic experience and extra REP rewards.
Rivet City will be back online on January 9th, 2026, and when it is, players of NBA 2K26 will get a 25% boost to their REP, helping them level up faster. But the biggest excitement is the return of the famous court from NBA 2K16 – even newcomers to the series will quickly appreciate it! Season 4 of NBA 2K26 also includes a lot of new content, especially in MyCareer. Players can unlock new gear through the season pass, like a Milwaukee Bucks mascot costume and a new hairstyle, plus the usual Cap Breaker to help boost your player at the end of the pass.
What’s Coming In NBA 2K26 Season 4 MyTeam?

Plus, the game is getting several new MyPlayer builds this season. 2K is honoring past Rookie of the Year winners by adding builds based on players like Steve Francis, Brandon Roy, Ben Simmons, Paolo Banchero, and Victor Wembanyama. They’re also including some popular, creative builds from the player community, giving you a total of ten strong options to choose from when creating a new character in Season 4.
In MyTeam, you’ll immediately get an Amethyst version of Tyrese Maxey that you can upgrade to Diamond. As you progress through the season pass, you’ll also unlock Diamond Thabo Sefolosha, Pink Diamond DeAndre Jordan, Galaxy Opal Bradley Beal, and Dark Matter 99 OVR Angel Reese. Completing the season pass will reward you with a 99 OVR Russell Westbrook. While smaller point guards aren’t currently popular in NBA 2K26, Westbrook should be a valuable addition to your team until 2K releases cards that allow players to use players at positions they don’t normally play.
If you’re playing NBA 2K26 this year, you’ll find that the regular season pass is just the beginning. The Pro Pass offers even more rewards if you’re willing to spend money. With the Pro Pass, you instantly get Galaxy Opal Aaron Gordon in MyTeam and a special animated hoodie in MyCareer. You’ll also unlock additional rewards as you progress, but remember it costs real money, so consider if it’s worth the purchase. Players enjoying The W Online will also receive benefits, including 5,000 VC, which can be used for upgrades in other game modes.
