Tylor Chase is finding support from a familiar face.
Devon Werkheiser, known from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, reconnected with his former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee. Lee contacted Werkheiser after seeing a sad video of him experiencing homelessness in California.
In an Instagram video posted on December 23rd, Daniel shared an update on Shaun Weiss. He explained that Shaun and his team worked hard to get him admitted to a hospital the night before, and Daniel initially believed they had succeeded. However, he later learned from Shaun’s dad that Shaun ultimately decided against going.
He shared video of their pizza outing, adding that he also arranged a call between his friend and Devon Werkheiser.
Daniel, 34, and Tylor, 36, spoke on FaceTime, and Daniel then assisted Tylor in finding a hotel room during the busy holidays.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Daniel just told me he put his faith in an old friend, someone he’s known forever! Apparently, he really wanted to keep things close to home, and this friend’s place was the only option available at the time. It’s just… so him, you know? Always loyal, always wanting to support those he cares about. I’m telling you, it’s a huge deal!
Daniel and Tylor hugged goodbye, and Daniel promised to visit Tylor again to see how he was doing.
“Love you, dude,” Tylor replied. “Thank you. I’m so happy to see you.”
Daniel hopes the recent support for Tylor will eventually help him regain stability and get back on track.

I’ve been thinking about Taylor a lot lately, and it warms my heart to see how many people he’s touched with his work. He actually shared with me that he’s incredibly grateful for all the inspiration he’s sparked in others – it’s just lovely to see!
Lots of people are supporting Tylor, and Devon, the actor who played Ned Bigby in the Nickelodeon show, recently said, “We’re all hoping for a positive outcome.”
He described Tylor as a sensitive, sweet, and kind child, and said it was devastating to see him in this condition, according to a statement to TMZ on December 22nd.
The 34-year-old expressed hope that increased attention to the situation would lead someone with the knowledge and means to help Tylor get the treatment he needs and begin to recover.
