The show is a crime drama that follows Bex, a former FBI profiler played by Roxburgh, and her team as they hunt down dangerous criminals who’ve escaped from a secret government prison called “The Pit.” It’s not part of the Law & Order series, but a unique take on the procedural format.

The second season, featuring Melissa Roxburgh as Bex, starts January 8th.

CBS’s big new shows for 2026 won’t start until after the Olympics, with The Hunting Party expected to air the first four episodes of its second season before coverage shifts to NBC.
