The action combat game Nekome: Nazi Hunter, played from a third-person perspective, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, according to developer ProbablyMonsters.
Jeronimo Barrera, general manager and game director at ProbablyMonsters, shared that Nekome: Nazi Hunter is a particularly meaningful project for him, built on his passion for story-focused games. According to a press release, the game’s design is entirely focused on presenting a specific perspective. Nekome: Nazi Hunter tells a World War II story through a very personal and intimate lens, emphasizing the characters and the impact of their choices. The protagonist, Vano, isn’t simply fighting Nazis; his actions are carefully considered acts of revenge, drawing players into his experience.

Here is an overview of the game, via ProbablyMonsters:
Nekome: Nazi Hunter is a single-player action game set during World War II. Players experience a deeply personal story of revenge as Vano Nastasu, a young Romani man whose family is killed by Nazi soldiers. Directed by Jeronimo Barrera, the game is inspired by gritty, exploitation films and follows Vano’s transformation from a victim into a relentless hunter, fighting his way across war-torn Europe.
In Nekome: Nazi Hunter, defeating enemies is challenging and comes at a cost. Players control Vano as he seeks revenge on those who killed his family, and each fight demands a unique strategy. You’ll need to carefully observe enemy movements, plan your attacks, and use a combination of stealth and intense close-quarters combat. Every strike is meaningful, creating a visceral and personal experience of vengeance.
In Nekome: Nazi Hunter, players sneak into enemy bases and carefully plan their attacks, using their surroundings and stealth to gain an advantage before a fight even starts. Once combat begins, it’s intense, brutal, and up-close, relying on makeshift weapons and precise strikes. The game also features a notoriety system – how players fight impacts enemy behavior, causing them to react with fear or panic depending on whether the player is methodical or chaotic. Each fight is an opportunity to create a uniquely brutal scene, and players must decide how far they’re willing to go to achieve vengeance.
