Okay, so I’ve got a PS5 and love those big, fancy games with amazing graphics, but honestly? Sometimes you just need to go back and play a classic platformer. It’s a nice change of pace, you know?
Shovel Knight showed a long time ago that people still love classic 8-bit adventures, and Lovish seems like it could be another game worth checking out.

A clever feature of this game is that after each platforming section, you’ll face a surprise event – things like turn-based battles or quick minigames. How well you do in these events affects your progress, what items you find, and even the story path you follow.
February is packed with new game releases, but this one looks like a light and enjoyable break from the bigger titles. At just $14.99, it could be a great addition to your collection alongside games like Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and Nioh 3.
