If you’re an action movie fan, don’t miss out! You only have three days to watch what many viewers consider a truly great show on Netflix before it’s gone. Although critics weren’t always enthusiastic, the show gained a dedicated following and became a part of popular culture.
The show Prison Break, featuring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, is a thrilling adventure from beginning to end. It follows brothers Michael Schofield and Lincoln Burrows as they navigate a dangerous predicament: Lincoln is wrongly convicted and sentenced to death, while Michael intentionally gets himself imprisoned alongside him. They immediately begin executing a complex plan to free Lincoln and clear his name. However, escaping prison is just the first challenge; they must also evade authorities and unravel a far-reaching political conspiracy that threatens everyone they love.
It’s Not Particularly Believable, But Still A Good Time
Reviewers weren’t enthusiastic about Prison Break, giving it a low score of 61% on Rotten Tomatoes. Tom Shales of the Washington Post described it as overly serious and pretentious, with acting that felt forced and ultimately lacked substance. Samantha Bornemann of PopMatters agreed, finding the characters, despite their dramatic actions, to be flat and unconvincing.
As a huge TV fan, I’ve been hearing amazing things about this show! A lot of people who’ve seen it are completely hooked, calling the first season some of the best television they’ve ever seen. One viewer actually said it was the best first season of any show they’d watched, praising the plots and characters as incredibly captivating – they literally couldn’t stop watching! Another person went even further, admitting they binged all five seasons in just one week, and then did it again a couple of years later! They absolutely promise you’ll love it, and honestly, that kind of enthusiasm is getting to me – I need to check this out!
