As a total sitcom fanatic, I’m always on the hunt for great shows, and honestly, I think the last really great family sitcom is only streaming on Netflix. It’s cool to see comedies still doing well, whether it’s the old-school way on network TV or on streamers. We’re getting spinoffs and remakes like Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage and Ghosts on CBS, plus totally original hits like Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ and Hacks on HBO. It just proves people will always love a good sitcom!
There are plenty of funny shows available to watch, and the ones mentioned earlier are just a small sample. Netflix offers several ongoing original sitcoms, like Man on the Inside starring Ted Danson and Leanne Morgan’s Leanne. You can also find many classic comedies on the platform, including Seinfeld, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Kim’s Convenience. But now, Netflix is the only place you can watch every single episode of what many consider to be the last truly great sitcom.
The Conners Season 7 Is Officially On Netflix

After almost a year since it finished airing, all of The Conners is now available to stream on Netflix. Previously, only the first six seasons were available, but now you can watch the entire series. While The Conners can be found on other streaming platforms, Netflix is the only one with all six seasons of the ABC comedy. The final season wrapped up storylines from both Roseanne and The Conners, delivering an emotional conclusion for the family.
While The Conners was still popular and ABC would have liked it to continue for a few more seasons, the decision to end the show after seven seasons wasn’t entirely unexpected. Both a showrunner and John Goodman had hinted at wanting to wrap things up. Thankfully, the show gave the Lanford family a satisfying conclusion.
Why The Conners’ Success Will Be Very Difficult To Replicate

After the 2018 revival of Roseanne was cancelled due to controversy surrounding Roseanne Barr, ABC faced a challenge: how to continue the popular story of the family in Lanford without its star. This led to the creation of The Conners. The show had a difficult start, but eventually found its own footing and appealed to both longtime viewers and new audiences.
It would be incredibly challenging to repeat the success of The Conners today. Reviving a show and keeping it popular for more than a season or two is hard enough, and achieving a truly long-lasting run is even rarer. Many shows have followed a similar pattern – starting with excitement but ultimately being canceled when the initial interest fades. Because of this, The Conners really raised the standard for how sitcom revivals are done.
All seasons of The Conners are now available to stream on Netflix.
