Netflix Just Gave Old-School WWE Fans a Huge Gift for 2026

As a lifelong wrestling fan, I was so excited to see Netflix and WWE team up! It felt like a real treat when they started streaming Monday Night Raw live in 2025 – it was the first time ever the show was only available through streaming. But it’s become even better! Now, in 2026, Netflix is adding classic WWE events to its library, and as a fan, I couldn’t ask for anything more. It’s clear this is just the beginning of a fantastic partnership.

At the beginning of 2026, WWE’s deal with Peacock ended, and their extensive library of past pay-per-view events (now called “Premium Live Events”) moved to Netflix. Now, fans around the world can stream both current shows like Monday Night Raw and the entire classic event archive, all in one place with unlimited viewing.

Netflix Adds Tons of Classic WWE PPVs

Netflix now has a huge library of classic WWE events that used to be on Peacock. For fans in the US, you can find almost every WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and other iconic events from past years. The way Netflix displays these events might seem a little strange – you’ll see things like “41 seasons” of WrestleMania – but that simply means the show has run for 41 years. It’s the same with all the other classic events.

While this update adds content to Netflix, it doesn’t include everything from the classic wrestling libraries previously available on Peacock or the WWE Network. Fans won’t find many older events from WCW, ECW, or other promotions WWE now owns, and U.S. viewers still won’t be able to stream recent events that were exclusive to ESPN, such as Wrestlepalooza. However, international fans will have access to all of this content on Netflix as they did before.

What’s Next With WWE on Netflix?

With WWE and Netflix expanding their partnership, 2026 promises to be an exciting year for both companies. It kicked off with the addition of classic WWE events, and on January 5th, the first episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix will feature a special crossover with Stranger Things to celebrate the end of the series and mark one year since WWE first aired on the platform. Plus, a new season of the reality series WWE: Unreal is also coming soon.

Season 2 of WWE: Unreal will debut on Netflix on January 20th, giving viewers an inside look at how the show is made. The first season sparked debate among fans and industry professionals for revealing too much about the creative side of things, but it was popular enough to earn a second season.
