Netflix Thriller Series With Over 1 Billion Hours Viewed Returns With Perfect RT Score & Takes #1 Spot

As a huge thriller fan, I’m really excited about the new season of The Night Agent on Netflix! It’s already getting incredible reviews – a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes and it’s currently the most-watched show on the platform. If you haven’t seen it, the series started in 2023 and stars Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland, an FBI agent working the night shift at the White House. Everything changes when he answers a call that reveals a mole operating within the government, and he’s thrown into a mission to uncover the traitor and protect the country. The third season just dropped this month, and it’s shaping up to be even better than the first two!

Season 3 of The Night Agent has been a huge success, surpassing its previous seasons. It launched with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and quickly became the most popular show on Netflix, according to FlixPatrol. Throughout the week, viewership has remained strong, keeping the series well ahead of other hits like Bridgerton and The Art of Sarah.

The Night Agent Remains a Critical and Audience Hit

I’ve been really enjoying The Night Agent, even though the buzz has cooled off a little. It currently has an 82% score from critics and a 78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is still pretty good and it’s clearly still finding viewers. Apparently, it had a perfect score for a while, but two reviews brought it down. One critic thought it felt a bit too familiar, and another admitted they weren’t thrilled when Luciane Buchanan, who played Rose Larkin, left the show.

While some viewers were disappointed with this season – feeling it didn’t live up to previous installments, weren’t fans of the show to begin with, or missed a particular cast member – most reviews were positive. Despite these criticisms, the show continues to receive high ratings from both critics and audiences, and has remained Netflix’s most popular title since its release, which is a strong indicator of its overall quality.

The season finale of The Night Agent left viewers on the edge of their seats. Peter’s boss, Catherine, instructed him to go undercover and investigate Jacob, a dangerous dealer in classified information with connections to a likely future president. When Jacob’s actions put the newly elected president at risk, Peter is caught in the middle and must find a way to protect both himself and the nation. With strong viewership numbers, The Night Agent continues to be a popular and successful series for Netflix.
