Netflix is already planning Season 2 of its live-action One Piece series, with a release expected next year. The new season, officially titled One Piece Into the Grand Line, will follow Luffy and his crew as they enter the Grand Line – a storyline hinted at in the first season’s finale. This season will adapt the next part of Eiichiro Oda’s original manga and promises to cover some major events.
Ahead of the release of Season 2, potential episode titles for the live-action *One Piece* series have appeared in the Writers Guild of America database. While Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed these titles, they match the story arcs Eiichiro Oda has already said the new season will cover. It looks like Season 2 will also have eight episodes, similar to the first, and these titles seem to align with what fans have seen in recent trailers and teasers.
One Piece Season 2 Episode Titles Potentially Revealed
Here’s a list of the episode titles from *One Piece Into the Grand Line*, organized alphabetically, according to the WGA database:
- Big Trouble in Little Garden
- Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom
- Good Whale Hunting
- Nami Deerest
- Reindeer Shames
- The Beginning of the End
- Wax On, Wax Off
- Whisky Business
As a huge *One Piece* fan, I was so excited when Eiichiro Oda announced the next season would cover some of my favorite arcs: Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island! Considering the trailers and teasers we’ve gotten lately, it seems like the episodes are going to follow that order – and I can’t wait to see it all unfold!
- The Beginning of the End (which likely refers to Loguetown as the final stop in the East Blue)
- Good Whale Hunting (which likely refers to Laboon and the Reverse Mountain needed to cross to get into the Grand Line)
- Whiskey Business (which likely refers to the town of Whiskey Peak)
- Big Trouble in Little Garden (which directly references the Little Garden location)
- Wax On, Wax Off (who refers to a very notable villain in the Little Garden arc)
- Nami Deerest (which is likely the start of the Drum Island arc and potential introduction to Tony Tony Chopper)
- Reindeer Shames (continuing through Drum Island)
- Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom (likely the climax of the Drum Island arc)
What Does This Mean for Netflix’s One Piece Season 2?
If the reported episode titles are accurate, the second season of Netflix’s *One Piece* will consist of eight episodes covering the key events fans have been expecting. These episodes appear to focus on important moments as the Straw Hats begin their adventure in the Grand Line, and the show doesn’t seem to be avoiding even the smaller, yet significant, details from the early parts of their voyage.
One of the best things about *One Piece* is how seemingly small scenes can become incredibly important later on. It’s good to see the live-action adaptation isn’t cutting any of those moments or characters, even if their future role isn’t immediately clear. Plus, it’s exciting that they might be adding new elements to the story as well.
