
Netflix is teasing a dramatic new season of its popular, darkly funny thriller, hinting at plenty of conflict to come.
The 2023 dark comedy series Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin, follows two strangers, played by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, whose simple road rage encounter quickly escalates into a wild and escalating series of revenge pranks. The show has earned critical acclaim, boasting a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and winning eight Primetime Emmy Awards. Season two will feature new cast members including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.
Vanity Fair recently shared the first photos and some details about the upcoming second season of Beef. According to the article, season 2 will focus on what happens after a young Gen-Z couple (Melton and Spaeny) overhear a heated argument between their millennial co-workers (Isaac and Mulligan). They then use a recording of the fight to their benefit.
