As a huge fan, I’m so excited! It feels like just yesterday we were all binge-watching the latest season, and now Netflix has already confirmed a third season! Even better, it’s coming much sooner than I anticipated – we won’t have to wait long at all to see what happens next!
The romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, is returning for a third season! Despite the show’s title, it’s proven to be a hit with viewers. Netflix announced the renewal less than two weeks after the second season premiered, and fans can expect to see more of Joanne and Noah’s relationship in 2026.
Foster expressed immense excitement about the show’s third season renewal. They shared with Netflix’s Tudum that writing about their favorite couple on such a large platform is a real honor, and they’re happy to continue as long as it doesn’t interfere with their nightly reality TV viewing!
Nobody Wants This Is One of Netflix’s Biggest Shows

When it arrived on Netflix in 2024, Nobody Wants This quickly became a hit. The show combines smart, funny writing with a realistic and engaging love story, and the connection between the lead actors, Bell and Brody, is undeniable. It tackles modern issues in a way that resonated with viewers, immediately sparking a lot of buzz. In its first week, Season 1 reached No. 2 on Netflix with 10.3 million views, then jumped to No. 1 the following week. Over its first 11 days, the show racked up 26 million views and earned a 95% “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, proving just how popular it became.
The show’s second season has been as popular as the first, debuting on October 23rd and immediately reaching the top spot on Netflix’s English TV chart. While critics gave it a score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, the season has held the No. 1 position for two weeks and has already garnered around 18 million views in its first 11 days, making it a major hit for Netflix.
How Many Seasons Will There Be of Nobody Wants This?
While Netflix hasn’t officially announced how long Nobody Wants This will continue, its popularity suggests it will likely go beyond the current three seasons. In a past interview with Deadline, the show’s creators, Foster and Brody, hinted at plans for a four- or five-season arc.
Brody thought a small group of four or five people was the right size. He didn’t think the situation was chaotic or over-the-top, unlike something you’d see on the show ‘It’s Always Sunny.’ He really believed four or five people would be enough.
Nobody Wants This Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. Season 3 is set to premiere next year.
