Fans are especially excited for the first trailer, hoping to get a good look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The Russo Brothers share Avengers: Doomsday’s official countdown teaser
The Russo brothers announced the one-year countdown to the release of Avengers: Doomsday with a short video on Instagram, simply captioning it, “1 year…”
The video begins with a close-up of the film’s clapperboard. It shows the film’s title and credits the directors, the Russo brothers, and cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel. The clapperboard also indicates this is roll #A12, scene A5, take 2.
The video then shows a countdown timer starting at twelve months. It quickly drops to eleven months, twenty-nine days, twenty-three hours, fifty-nine minutes, and fifty-nine seconds.
So, the Russos just posted something new after sharing a really mysterious black and white picture on Instagram a few days ago. They didn’t say what it meant, and honestly, everyone’s been buzzing with theories ever since!
Fans are eagerly awaiting the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. While it was originally thought the trailer would be shown before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, it’s now reported that four different trailers will be released over four weeks, each appearing before the film in a new week.
I’m so excited for the next Avengers movie, ‘Doomsday’! It’s hitting theaters on December 18, 2026.
