LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new game from TT Games, was a major highlight of this year’s Gamescom and looks set to be a great addition to the LEGO video game lineup.
I’m so hyped for this game! It’s not coming out until 2026 on PS5, which feels like forever away, but thankfully WB Games just dropped a new behind-the-scenes video to keep us excited while we wait.
The video includes interviews with key people like James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, Jim Lee, president of DC, and Jonathan Smith, head of development at TT Games. They discuss the character of Batman and what sets this new game apart.
In Legacy of the Dark Knight, you get to roam around Gotham City as Batman and battle criminals in an open-world action adventure.
What sets this LEGO Batman game apart is its use of classic moments and storylines from Batman’s entire history. It’s packed with references that fans will recognize from the movies, the animated series, previous games, comic books, and other sources.
