The popular anime series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is extending its partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) through a unique jersey. To initiate this collaboration, ufotable, the studio responsible for the Demon Slayer anime, created an exclusive animated short for the MLB. Los Angeles Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani was a significant character in this animation, which mirrored the distinctive visual style of the renowned Demon Slayer series. The MLB has subsequently sold merchandise based on the short, featuring T-shirts displaying the animation and designed in the style of Demon Slayer. Initially, the MLB’s collaboration was more centered around the Dodgers compared to other American baseball teams.
