This week, Epic Games Store is offering a free game from a hugely popular franchise – a departure from their usual practice of giving away lesser-known indie titles. While Epic has occasionally offered big-name games, players generally expect to discover smaller, independent games each week. This time, however, one of the free games is connected to a well-established and famous series, even if the game itself isn’t a household name.
From today, November 20th, until the morning of November 27th, you can get Godzilla Voxel Wars for free on the Epic Games Store. This 2023 strategy game puts Godzilla and other iconic monsters against a race called the Fungoids. It plays a lot like the popular game Into the Breach. While it’s a well-regarded Godzilla game, Godzilla Voxel Wars hasn’t gotten as much attention as some others, so making it free on the Epic Store should give more people a chance to try it out.
This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away both Godzilla Voxel Wars and a lesser-known game called Zoeti. While Godzilla Voxel Wars is the bigger title, Zoeti – a roguelike deckbuilder from Akupara Games – is also free to claim. Many players who have tried Zoeti have enjoyed it, making it worth a look, especially since it doesn’t cost anything.
If you’re curious about whether Godzilla Voxel Wars and Zoeti are worth playing, you can find official trailers and game details for both of these free games below.
Godzilla Voxel Wars
Get ready for a new strategy puzzle game from TOHO Games (known for Godzilla) and Nukenin LLC! You’ll command iconic Toho monsters to defend the world from an invasion of strange, mushroom-like creatures. As you play through the levels, you’ll uncover the mystery behind this fungal threat.
Zoeti
In the monster-filled world of Zoeti, you play as a Star-Soul hero destined to restore peace. Instead of traditional weapons, you fight using a deck of playing cards. By playing card combinations – like pairs, full houses, or even royal flushes – you unleash powerful skills to attack enemies and protect yourself. You’ll become even stronger by winning battles and finding new upgrades.
