Bandai Namco is among the world’s leading video game publishing companies with an impressive pipeline of upcoming games set for release in 2025. On July 2nd, fans will get a sneak peek into several of these games during the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase, which will be streamed live on their official YouTube channel at 12 p.m. Pacific Time. During this event, viewers can anticipate updates on various titles that have previously been announced, as well as the unveiling of a fresh game based on My Hero Academia.
From my perspective as an onlooker, it appears that, as of now, there’s no official name announced for the upcoming My Hero Academia game. However, a trademark for the title “All’s Justice” was registered back in March, which initially hinted at a new game in development based on the series. In fact, earlier this June, we caught a glimpse of a leaked logo and concept art for the game. Now, it seems that we might finally get a complete unveiling during the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase, where a trailer for the event can be found below.
In this upcoming event hosted by Bandai Namco, I’m excitedly anticipating the unveiling of several other intriguing games aside from what’s featured in the trailer. Among them is Little Nightmares 3, fresh on the heels of its recent release date announcement. We can also look forward to gathering more details about Shadow Labyrinth, Code Vein II, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. The event will offer a comprehensive exploration into the gameplay mechanics of Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and there’s something brewing about Tekken 8 as well. Given that Tekken 8 is set to introduce DLC fighter Fahkumram soon, it’s likely we’ll get a closer peek at his gameplay.
I’m super excited to share that the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase will give us a sneak peek into two games originating from PlayStation properties! This year, it was disclosed that Bandai Namco will be distributing “Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots” and “Patapon 1+2 Replay”. Unlike their predecessors, these games will make their debut on platforms outside of PlayStation, specifically PC and Nintendo Switch. This is quite unprecedented for Sony, sparking speculations among fans about the possibility of similar moves with other dormant PlayStation franchises. Here’s to hoping we see more familiar faces making a comeback!
