However, just before the September 12th Nintendo Direct, whispers began about a fresh console spinoff game in the Pokemon universe. Yet, instead of what was anticipated, The Pokemon Company is introducing an entirely new Pokemon spinoff, and it’s not what anyone predicted.

For quite some time now, fans of Pokémon have been yearning for a comfortable, farming sim-style Pokémon offshoot. In essence, they’ve envisioned a game that combines the charm of Animal Crossing with the excitement of Pokémon. And now, their dream is becoming a reality as The Pokemon Company is introducing its own interpretation of this concept called Pokemon Pokopia, which strongly resembles both Minecraft and Animal Crossing. Intriguingly, the main character in this new cozy Pokémon spin-off happens to be… a human Ditto! Yes, you heard it right.

The concept of Transform Pokéemon transforming an entire area is an intriguing twist. However, some may find Human Ditto somewhat disconcerting instead of the customizable human avatar many might have preferred in this cozy spinoff of the Pokémon series.
