Last month, I was thrilled to find that pre-orders for Pokemon Legends: Z-A were live on The Pokemon Center’s website! I couldn’t wait to grab one of the limited physical Switch and Switch 2 editions, which come with an exciting bonus – a randomly selected Sitting Cutie. But here’s the catch, these plusle pre-order perks are exclusive to those who managed to secure their copies from Pokemon’s official retail site.
However, it looks like other stores are starting to sweeten the deal for fans who pre-order Pokemon Legends: Z-A from them too. And let me tell you, there’s quite a variety of special bonuses up for grabs!
On July 22nd, we got a closer look at the upcoming Pokemon game, which is set to release on October 16th. Fans are excited about this new title due to features like extensive character customization, a fresh take on mega evolution, and other exciting aspects. Pre-orders for the physical copies of Pokemon Legends: Z-A are now available at various retailers outside The Pokemon Center. While these pre-orders won’t include a plush toy of a random starter from the game, each store is offering exclusive bonuses related to Pokemon as part of their pre-order incentives.
The opportunity to pre-order Pokemon Legends: Z-A starter plushie from the Pokemon Center has ended. If you missed out on this special offer, I’m sorry to say that it’s no longer available. But don’t worry! Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon each have their own unique incentives for pre-ordering the game. So, if you’re still interested in getting a physical copy of the game with an added bonus, now’s your second chance to do so.
All Pokemon Legends: Z-A Pre-Order Bonuses and Where to Get Them
Previously discussed, all pre-orders from The Pokemon Center have been exhausted. Since the online store does not have more stock available at present, Pokemon enthusiasts must explore other avenues to purchase Legends: Z-A. Here are the current pre-order choices and incentives that will be provided:
1. Option A – Store X offers a 10% discount on pre-orders with free shipping for a limited time. The bonus includes an exclusive poster featuring Pokemon characters from the game.
2. Option B – Store Y provides a collector’s edition of Legends: Z-A that comes with an art book and a limited-edition pin set. Pre-orders are available at a slight premium over regular editions.
3. Option C – Store Z offers the game at its standard price, but customers will receive a free downloadable wallpaper of their choice featuring popular Pokemon characters from Legends: Z-A.
Fans can make an informed decision based on their preferences and priorities when it comes to pre-ordering this exciting new title.
Best Buy
Preorders are now available at Best Buy for both digital and tangible copies of “Pokemon Legends: Z-A”. They’re providing both the original Switch and the new Switch 2 versions, available in physical and digital formats.
Individuals who reserve ‘Legends: Z-A’ at Best Buy prior to its release will receive an exclusive Pokemon-themed mouse pad as a bonus. The pad showcases a map of Lumiose City, characters from the game’s starters in the ‘Legends Z-A’ series, and some other significant Pokemon. This benefit applies regardless of whether you opt for the digital or physical edition. Moreover, if you had pre-ordered ‘Legends: Z-A’ at Best Buy before this incentive was announced, you are still eligible to receive the mouse pad while stocks last.
Walmart
At the moment, Walmart is offering in-store pre-orders for “Pokemon Legends: Z-A”. They’ve got both the original Switch and the new Switch 2 variants up for grabs if you’re planning to secure a copy.
Similar to how the Pokemon Center offers surprises, Walmart is adopting a similar approach for their pre-orders by incorporating an element of uncertainty, much like a mystery box. However, instead of cuddly Sitting Cuties, the pre-order bonuses include a random Mystery Pin showcasing one of the three starters from the game – either Totodile, Tepig, or Chikorita. Pre-ordering Pokemon Legends: Z-A at Walmart will grant you this exciting surprise.
Amazon
Since Amazon and Nintendo have reconciled, you can now pre-order “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” on Amazon. As of now, the pre-order incentives are exclusive to Japan. Nevertheless, U.S. customers can still pre-order the physical Switch or Switch 2 version from the site.
Amazon Japan’s bonus for preordering Pokémon Legends Z-A from them includes an in-game trench coat, as well as a spoon and fork in the game.

As reported by Pokemon news outlet PLDH, enthusiasts in Japan are set to receive an in-game trench coat for their character, along with a unique “Legends: Z-A” spoon and fork collection. It remains undecided if the trench coat will be accessible to fans outside of Japan or remain exclusive to that region.
GameStop
Currently, GameStop hasn’t revealed any pre-order incentives for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but they are taking pre-orders for both digital and physical versions of the game on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 platforms.
