Although the main story of Stranger Things concluded with its fifth season earlier this year, the show remains incredibly popular. A spin-off series has already been released, and another is planned. For those who want to revisit season 5, there’s good news: a new release is officially confirmed and will be available next month.
Fans of Stranger Things will soon be able to own Stranger Things: The Complete Scripts, Season 5, available July 14th. This book offers a behind-the-scenes look at the show’s final season with all the scripts from every episode, including dialogue, scenes, and notes for the actors. All The Ways Stranger Things Fans Can Continue Enjoying The Franchise
Even though the main Stranger Things story has finished, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the world and characters. Netflix released an animated spin-off series called Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 that fills in the gaps between seasons 2 and 3. The first season was popular, and a second season is coming later this year or next year, although it’s currently unclear if the show will continue beyond that.
If you enjoy reading, there are lots of options for you too. Besides the complete scripts from seasons one through five, you can also find a coloring book, an art book, a behind-the-scenes guide, a sticker and coloring book, and even a cookbook. But the real fun begins with the novels that expand on the show’s universe.
The series begins with Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond, a novel set in the summer of 1969 that explores Dr. Brenner’s experiments in Hawkins and his conflict with Terry Ives, who became one of his test subjects. Next is Darkness on the Edge of Town by Adam Christopher, which tells the story of Jim Hopper sharing his past – including why he left Hawkins, his experiences in Vietnam, and events in New York – with Eleven.
Caitlin Schneiderhan has written two novels set in the Stranger Things universe. Flight of Icarus takes place two years before season four, focusing on Eddie Munson’s senior year as he tries to earn money for his dreams and reconnects with his father. Her newest book, One Way or Another: A Nancy Wheeler Mystery, follows Nancy and Robin investigating a potential Vecna victim, but their investigation quickly becomes more complex – though it’s still unclear if it directly ties into the Upside Down.
