After showing the film to test audiences and making further improvements, DC Studios made some changes. They were already planning to feature David Corenswet as Superman in a limited role, but the revised version gives him more screen time. The new ending also includes a brief appearance by a character who may play a role in future DC Universe movies.
These changes are being made to create a smooth connection to the upcoming “Man of Tomorrow” movie. The new ending might hint at bigger storylines to come, possibly involving villains like Brainiac. Milly Alcock will likely return as Kara Zor-El in future stories connected to this arc.
