New games are constantly being released on the Xbox Store, and this week brings another great selection.
I’ve been waiting for this! Battlefield 6, the newest game from Electronic Arts (EA), is launching on October 10th. From what I’ve seen, it’s already getting a lot of positive attention. People are really liking how realistic the military action feels, and the recent beta test was a huge hit, attracting hundreds of thousands of players.
I’ve been following the development of the next Battlefield for ages, and it’s been a massive undertaking! It’s not just one studio working on it, but a whole bunch – DICE, Ripple Effect, Criterion, and Motive – and they’re all working together under this new ‘Battlefield Studios’ banner. It’s pretty cool to see so many talented teams collaborating on one game.
Just a quick note from my research: if you’re an EA Play subscriber – and that includes those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – you’ll get a discount if you decide to purchase this. It’s definitely something to keep in mind as you’re considering it.
Beyond the latest first-person shooters, Little Nightmares 3 is a standout release this week. It’s the first game in the series created by Supermassive Games and features a new two-player online co-op mode.
A better version of the first Little Nightmares game is also coming out this week. Plus, if you pre-order Little Nightmares 3, you’ll get this updated version completely free!
Don’t forget to check out last week’s new game releases, like Final Fantasy Tactics from Square Enix! Here’s a look at what’s coming to Xbox this week:
