New Xbox Series X Console Exclusive Stealth Released (And It’s Free With Xbox Game Pass)

Xbox Game Pass members have a surprise new game available now – and it’s one of the best-rated titles coming out this fall! The good news is this game isn’t just for Ultimate subscribers; it’s also included with the Premium tier. Plus, both PC and Xbox console players can enjoy it. The only Game Pass plan that doesn’t include the game is the Essential tier.

A new game called CloverPit has quietly been added to Xbox Game Pass. Developed by Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, it’s a unique rogue-lite that combines slot machine gameplay with a creepy atmosphere. It was recently released on the Microsoft Store for Xbox Series X and S, making it a console exclusive. While it’s been a surprise hit on Steam since September, Xbox players haven’t responded to it as strongly.

About the Game and User Reviews

CloverPit first launched on Steam on September 26, 2025, and remains exclusive to that platform. Despite being a small, $10 indie game, it’s found a good amount of success on Steam, earning 7,199 user reviews with an 88% positive rating. This makes it a standout and highly-rated game on Steam as of September 2026. While Xbox players on the Microsoft Store generally haven’t been as enthusiastic, the difference in opinion isn’t huge – it currently has just under a 4 out of 5 star rating. However, the fact that CloverPit is available through Xbox Game Pass likely affects this score, as ratings often decrease when games are added to the service due to the lower cost of entry.

I’m really excited about this new Xbox Series X game! You can play it if you have Xbox Game Pass Premium or Ultimate, which is awesome if you’re already subscribed. If not, you can just buy the game for $10. It looks like it’ll take most people around 7 to 12 hours to finish, but if you’re a completionist like me and want to get everything, it’ll probably take closer to 25 or 30 hours. Totally worth it, I think!
