NFL Heiress Gracie Hunt Engaged to Former Chiefs QB’s Son Derek Green

Gracie Hunt is kicking off an exciting new era.

Clark Hunt’s 27-year-old daughter recently announced she’s engaged to Derek Green. His father, Trent Green, used to be the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, playing for the team for five seasons during his 15-year NFL career. The couple revealed their relationship publicly on social media almost a year ago.

Gracie shared photos on Instagram on April 4th of her proposal from Derek. The romantic setup took place outdoors on a wooden deck decorated with white candles and flowers. Derek, 26, proposed on one knee while wearing a light gray suit, and Gracie looked stunning in a long white dress.

A recent close-up photo revealed details of Gracie’s engagement ring: an emerald-cut emerald with diamond accents along the band.

She revealed it was always him, sharing the news online with a post dedicated to her now-fiancé. He responded with a simple, heartfelt message: “FOREVER AND EVER.” The woman, a passionate football fan, works in brand development and marketing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was so wonderful to see them surrounded by family and friends as they celebrated! Both of their dads were there, and I was especially happy to see Gracie’s mom, Tavia Hunt, and Derek’s mom, Julie Green. They were absolutely beaming and so excited about their families joining together – it really warmed my heart.

Gracie and Derek revealed they were dating on Instagram in May, posting photos from a trip with friends. However, they’ve actually known each other for quite a while – longer than it might seem from their social media activity. They are now engaged to be married.

Gracie shared with People magazine that she and Derek have been friends since childhood. They first met as babies at the Kansas City Chiefs’ annual Christmas parties and later reconnected as adults in 2017, meeting again on the sidelines before a game.

And the rest is history, as Gracie added that the pair “have been inseparable ever since.”
