Tyreek Hill’s daughter Capri is doing well after a health scare.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share this update about my beloved NFL star’s life: His little eight-month-old angel was recently taken to the hospital, and it was his caring mom, Keeta Vaccaro, who reached out to their trusted pediatrician, Dr. Jared Friedman, due to some unusual behavior that had us all concerned.
Keeta posted on Instagram last night: “Last night was really frightening…” She shared a photo of her and her daughter in a hospital bed, where her daughter was smiling. Capri had suddenly become warm, drowsy, and not herself. Without delay, she contacted @drjaredmiami, who swiftly arranged for us to be rushed to the ER, with an exceptional team ready to receive us.
After undergoing a quick and tender round of examinations such as blood tests, viral scans, and cultures, I, an ardent admirer, couldn’t help but express my heartfelt gratitude to the pediatrician and the medical team at the Miami hospital. The compassionate care Keeta, who recently filed for divorce from the Miami Dolphins wide receiver, received in April, truly left an indelible mark on her.
The ‘Wags to Riches’ star expressed their gratitude for the caring service that responded even in the late hours and managed the situation. They also shared that Capri is showing significant improvement now.
A week prior to the baby’s unexpected health issue, Tyreek gave a glimpse into the strong bond he shares with Capri, offering a peek behind the scenes.
On Instagram, posted on July 31st, there were a set of pictures showing the athlete beaming with joy and snuggling with his little girl on a sandy beach, dressed in a charming pink swimsuit. Capri too, looked deep into her father’s eyes, mirroring his smile while they sat cozily at a restaurant.
Tyreek captioned the post, “Creating memories with my lil Girl.”
In her own way, Keeta frequently shares glimpses into her life with Capri on Instagram, and also maintains a distinct Instagram profile dedicated to their 8-month-old child.
After giving birth to Capri in November, Keeta marked the “deeply humbling process” of adapting to her new role as a mother with a baby by celebrating it.
As a devoted admirer, I am utterly amazed by the indomitable resilience and power that our bodies possess – a testament to this, I find myself in profound admiration. Everywhere I look, women’s bodies embody strength and perseverance that is truly inspiring.
In the spirit of gratitude that fills my heart, I am beyond words grateful for having a healthy baby girl by my side. The privilege of being her mother is an indescribable gift that I cherish deeply. This sentiment was beautifully captured in my December Instagram post.
Read on for other stars who have recounted the health scares they have encountered.
During a wrestling match against fellow WWE star Piper Niven in July 2025, a former contestant on Total Bellas disclosed that one of her breast implants had moved due to a powerful elbow strike.
She reassured her sister Bella Garcia at that moment, “It’s all right.” She added, “We’ll sort it out eventually. I told the doctor, ‘Now that I’m newly divorced, as soon as I retire my boots, I’ll be back to you and we’ll ensure these girls look great because these ladies will have their share of attention in the future, and that can’t appear shabby.’
In 2014, the actress who played a pivotal role in “12 Years a Slave” was diagnosed with fibroids, which are benign growths that can form within or near the uterus. Interestingly, this diagnosis came in the same year she received an Oscar for her remarkable performance in that film.
Yet, it wasn’t until the year 2025 that she revealed her diagnosis, posting on Instagram that she had been quietly enduring her condition for over ten years.
In simpler terms, she expressed that during puberty, women are often led to believe that menstruation brings pain, and this discomfort is just an inherent aspect of femininity. Unfortunately, many women endure this challenge on their own as it significantly impacts them personally.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share a personal health tip from July 2025: I, too, had an unexpected health issue that I believe many of us can learn from. After years of favoring tight-fitting trousers for my performances as the star of Daisy Jones & The Six, I found myself hospitalized due to a hernia-a condition caused by strain on the muscular wall, often in the abdomen or groin area. This serves as a reminder that fashion choices can impact our health, and it’s essential to prioritize comfort and well-being in our wardrobes as much as we do style.
She wrote on the platform, once called Twitter, “‘You don’t post on Twitter anymore,'” she said. “Six months ago, I wore such tight pants they gave me a hernia, and I’ve been too timid to mention it to you.
As a connoisseur of the finer things in life and wellness advocate, I found myself in an unexpected situation back in April 2025. I underwent surgery due to a near rupture of my appendix – quite an unanticipated twist in my usual health regimen! But rest assured, I am on the mend and eagerly looking forward to getting back to my active lifestyle soon.
A week ago, Brian shared in an Instagram video that he began experiencing abdominal discomfort. This led him to visit the emergency room, where it was discovered he had a perforated appendix, not yet fully ruptured.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”
Adam Devine revealed that the injuries he suffered at age 11, following an accident involving a cement truck, continue to impact him up until now.
In a 2025 episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast, Devine expressed that it had been an extremely difficult time for him. He explained that he has been experiencing spasms throughout his body and, not long ago, doctors informed him that he was close to death – specifically within the last year.
He observed that pain is intermittent, expressing it as, “There are several aspects of my body that aren’t quite right or functioning perfectly.
The former contestant from Bachelor Nation revealed that he was compelled to visit the hospital, moving on hands and knees, because of excruciating back pain that intensified during a camping trip with a companion in an RV.
At this moment, there’s a tingling sensation from my knees down to my toes, which is quite unusual,” he expressed during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. “To put it into perspective, about two to three weeks ago, I was able to squat around 295 pounds. Now, I’m unable to do a single-leg squat without losing balance, as if I’ve experienced some sort of neurological issue.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”
Gina Kirschenheiter from “Real Housewives of Orange County” revealed that her former spouse, Matt Kirschenheiter, experienced a heart attack in March 2025. Fortunately, he managed to pull through this challenging situation.
30 Rock’s star experienced a health incident during a New York Knicks basketball match in March 2025, resulting in his removal from Madison Square Garden in a stretcher.
On the next day, the comedian posted an update on social media, explaining it was due to food poisoning and he was recovering.
In February 2025, an actress from Even Stevens revealed that she had been accidentally shot in the face during a clay pigeon shooting excursion to celebrate her husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday.
I found myself alongside another party who unfortunately discharged their firearm carelessly and struck me in the face. Instantly, @thebrendanrooney stepped up, evaluated my condition, and swiftly rushed me to the hospital. Remarkably, I was hit in five spots, one of which was only a fraction of an inch away from directly hitting my right eye.
As a devoted fan, I’d rephrase that as: “From my personal experience, a tiny piece has found its way to rest behind my eye, making surgical removal too risky right now. However, my doctors are keeping a close watch on me, and fortunately, I can see clearly at the moment.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for still being alive, stating, “My affection for my daughters, husband, family, and friends runs deep.” She continued by describing a moment where she felt her life flashed before her eyes, emphasizing the importance of embracing loved ones whenever possible. She warned that life can unexpectedly change in the blink of an eye.
Although the internet can sometimes be unkind, Amy Schumer is grateful that this time it provided her with valuable insights. In a 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, she remembered the backlash after numerous interviews left her with a fuller face, saying, “Everybody, calm down,” but then medical professionals started commenting, suggesting something might be wrong. She humorously added, “I’m getting trolled by doctors!”
After these doctors speculated that she could have Cushing syndrome due to elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections, the Life & Beth creator realized, “Wait, I’ve been receiving steroid injections for my scars.” She had undergone a breast reduction and a C-section, among other procedures.
“I was getting these steroid injections,” Amy explained. “This led to Cushing syndrome, which I wouldn’t have known if the internet hadn’t been so critical of me.”
Now, Amy is simply relieved to know she’s healthy. As she wrote in her 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Learning that I have a type of Cushing syndrome that will resolve itself and that I’m well was the best news I could ever imagine.
During a game in December 2024, an AHL player got injured when another player’s skate accidentally cut him, necessitating 25 stitches. Later, when the player was completely healed, his father, who is the general manager of the New Jersey Devils named Tom Fitzgerald, expressed his relief to ESPN, stating, “We were incredibly fortunate. I wouldn’t wish such an incident on any parent.
Hailey Bieber endured a terrifying ordeal in March 2022 when she experienced symptoms similar to a stroke while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. During this incident, Hailey’s speech became impaired, and one side of her face drooped before regaining control.
Hailey recounted the event a month later on YouTube, describing how she initially couldn’t respond when Justin asked if she was alright, and when she tried to speak, she struggled. She was subsequently taken to the hospital for examination.
Doctors found that Hailey had suffered a minor blood clot in her brain, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigation revealed that Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO), through which the blood clot escaped and traveled to her brain.
Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling well afterward. The blood clot, having originated from a heart condition, traveled to her brain and caused the TIA.
During the same year Hailey had her health issue, Justin also faced a similar challenge. Specifically, in June 2022, the “Baby” singer announced his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which led to temporary facial paralysis and the cancellation of his Justice World Tour. In an Instagram video, he explained that this condition affected the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, causing paralysis on one side of his face. He could not blink one eye, smile on one side, or move one nostril. Eating became progressively difficult for him, but eventually, the paralysis subsided. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and feeling much better, despite it being a frightening and unexpected situation.
Initially maintaining secrecy about his hospitalization in April 2023, Jamie Foxx eventually shared his experiences. In his 2024 Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…”, the Academy Award winner recounted the events saying, “One day in Atlanta, I had such a severe headache that I asked my friend for an aspirin. Before I could get it, I passed out and lost consciousness for approximately 20 days.”
Upon visiting a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, his sister Deidra Dixon took him to a hospital where they discovered the cause: a brain bleed resulting in a stroke. Twenty days after the surgery on May 4, he woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“All I can say is that I am grateful for every prayer,” Foxx expressed, “because I needed every one of them.
Actress Emilia Clarke, famously known for her role in Game of Thrones, penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in 2019. In the piece, she recounted an incident at the gym where she was struck by a severe headache, leading to vomiting and worsening pain. She suspected her brain was injured.
Rushed to the hospital for a scan, she was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a critical type of stroke due to bleeding in the brain’s surrounding area. This was caused by an aneurysm, or arterial rupture.
She underwent immediate surgery to repair the aneurysm, describing the pain as unbearable. During her recovery, she also experienced aphasia and spoke nonsensically. However, a week later, her aphasia subsided, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month.
In 2013, during another brain scan, it was discovered that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery. Upon waking up from the procedure, she was in severe pain as the operation had failed. The doctors informed her that her chances of survival were slim if they didn’t operate again, this time through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now reported to be completely healthy and well.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses gratitude for her family’s support following her health scare in January 2024. After experiencing a severe stroke, her loved ones immediately rallied around her. “I sent them a text and a picture saying I had a stroke,” she shared with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024. “Everyone came to my aid.”
Due to additional medical issues, Cori’s hospital stay was prolonged beyond what she initially anticipated. “I could have been discharged after the stroke,” she explained further. “However, my lupus wasn’t in a good state, and my kidneys were failing. There were several complications.”
Today, Cori is recovering well. “I’m doing great now,” she said. “I just needed to regain some motor skills, but otherwise, I was fine.
During her twenties, Shailene Woodley experienced numerous health challenges, as she explained in a September 2024 episode of the SHE MD Podcast. She faced difficulties such as losing her hearing, having extreme fatigue after brief walks, and stomach issues with almost every food she ate. Despite consulting multiple doctors, her condition was complex and involved several interrelated issues.
To seek answers, Shailene, who has a holistic background and studies herbalism, decided to work not only with conventional medical professionals but also independent healers. This journey took a decade, during which she struggled with various physical discomforts that led to fears about food and ultimately developed into mental health issues like body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and feelings of insecurity.
However, after addressing both her physical and mental well-being, Shailene is now feeling much better and is grateful for her improved health.
