In *NHL 26*, X-Factors are unique player abilities that take your game to the next level, going beyond standard player Traits. You’ll start with one X-Factor already equipped and an open slot, but you’ll need to earn more to fill the remaining two slots.
This NHL 26 guide will detail everything you can do to unlock more X-Factors for your pro.
Be A Pro Conversation Response
Having high confidence unlocks more options in conversations and helps you earn X-Factors and new Traits faster.
Interview Question Responses
During all future interviews, choose the answer that shows confidence. The first question you answer will give you 2 Trait Points, and the second will give you 2 X-Factor Points.
Activities
Each day, focus on X-Factor Training through the Activities menu to gradually earn the X-Factor Points needed to unlock all X-Factors. When you run out of Energy, go to the Health sub-menu and use your pro’s Health to gain more Energy, but stop before they become Exhausted.
Keep making steady progress each day until your energy is refilled, then start the process over. You’ll quickly earn enough points to unlock the special abilities you’ve been aiming for.
Here’s how to help your players reach their full potential and unlock all 28 X-Factors in *NHL 26*.
