Nicole Kidman is bringing her baby girl to the met.
Nicole Kidman, who stars in Moulin Rouge, revealed that her oldest daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, will join her on the red carpet at the Met Gala. Kidman is co-chairing the event with Anna Wintour, and Sunday will accompany her up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This will be despite Kidman being divorced from Sunday’s father, Keith Urban.
I think this is the third time I’ve co-chaired, but to be doing it now feels amazing,” Nicole told Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the March 13th episode of their podcast, Las Culturistas. “I’m really happy, and my daughter, Sunday, will be there with me.
The Oscar-winning actress, who previously co-hosted the event in 2003 and 2005, was especially thrilled to attend with Beyoncé. She shared that simply being there for Beyoncé was a highlight for her, even before announcing her date.
The 2026 Met Gala is shaping up to be a glamorous event with the addition of tennis legend Venus Williams as a co-chair.
Nicole Kidman, who is a mother to Bella and Connor Cruise (with Tom Cruise), and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban (with Keith Urban), is thrilled that her daughter Sunday will be attending the Met Gala for the first time.

Nicole added that her friend is a big fashion enthusiast and recently modeled in Dior’s show. She’s currently on her way back home from Paris.
Sunday is quickly becoming a well-known model. She recently walked the runway at the Dior Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show during Paris Fashion Week on March 3rd, following her debut in Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 show last October. She credits her mother with helping her discover her passion for modeling.
Sunday recently told Elle Australia that those experiences sparked a lot of passion in her, especially because she had them when she was young. She also shared that her mother, a very creative person, is her biggest inspiration and plays a crucial role in everything she does.
Beyond that, she’s also gained some valuable career advice from the Big Little Lies star.
The best career advice my mum ever gave me is simple: always be on time. She’s so right – there will always be days when you’re dreading an early start, but showing up on time demonstrates you’re professional, prepared, and genuinely appreciate the opportunity. It’s stuck with me ever since!

She wants them to live truthfully and confidently as who they are.

Okay, seriously, watching Hilary Duff as a mom is EVERYTHING. She’s completely focused on raising her daughters – Banks, Mae, and Townes – to be total powerhouses. She told TopMob News she just wants them to know how strong they are and what they’re capable of! It’s not about controlling them, though. At the 2023 NAACP Image Awards, the Oscar-nominated actress shared her most important parenting lesson: encourage your children to use their voices. ‘Your voice matters,’ she told TopMob News, adding, ‘So speak out, speak up, and let yourself be heard.’ She shares twins, Bronwyn and Slater, with her husband, Courtney B. Vance.

Growing up with a mother known for her sharp advice, Ivy-Victoria likely has a lot of life lessons under her belt. However, she recently shared one piece of wisdom that she especially hopes people remember. At the NAACP Image Awards, she told TopMob News, “It takes a very special person to be worthy of someone like her.” She went on to say, “Know your value and don’t settle for less. Find a partner who is your equal, so you can continue the tradition of success that our ancestors envisioned for us.”

Don’t underestimate what you learned in kindergarten! When raising her twins, Gaia and John, the actress strongly believes in the old saying, ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.’ She told TopMob News at the LA Art Show’s VIP opening that while it’s a classic phrase, she really wants her children to understand and embrace its meaning.
She explained that this core idea, combined with her daily reminder – “what others think of you doesn’t matter, only your own opinion does” – is incredibly powerful.

Many cozy bedtime stories of Good Night, Sister are likely in the future for the author’s daughters, Lyla and Eloise (with husband Chris Pratt). She transformed the important message she wants her girls to learn – celebrating the bonds of sisterhood, friendship, and family – into a children’s book, she shared with TopMob News. Growing up, she was taught by her parents – especially her mother, Maria Shriver, who has a close relationship with her brothers – that family is the most important thing, and she experienced that support firsthand with her own extended family always being there for each other.
Growing up with her brothers, Christopher and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and her sister, Christina, who is 19 months younger, she learned the importance of family support. As she explained, her family always had her back, a lesson she now wants to pass on to her own son, Ford, and to all children. This is why she’s so dedicated to promoting the values of sisterhood and family.

Chelsea Houska’s dad, Randy, is known for giving good advice. She recently told TopMob News that she hopes to teach her daughters – Aubree, Watson, Layne, and Walker – to always be the bigger person.
