Although Sony might be closing its official PlayStation Gear store, merchandise is still a growing and vital part of their overall business strategy.
It makes perfect sense that the company is teaming up with Walmart to create special, exclusive products based on its most popular brands. You’ll be able to find these items online and at certain Walmart stores.
One of the included items is a cute Astro Bot lunch box. It has special eyes that appear to change when you view it from different angles.
You can also get a jersey inspired by PlayStation, and a mini backpack modeled after the one Ellie carries in The Last of Us: Part 1.
Sony is teaming up with Meltz to create Twisted Metal-themed ice cream collectibles, which are perfectly timed for the Halloween season.
We especially love these Monogram backpack clips, which showcase iconic PlayStation characters – both classic and new. You can choose from heroes like Astro Bot, Aloy, Ellie, Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth, and Kratos.
We don’t have information on when these products will be available or how much they’ll cost, but expect to see them become available later in the year.
As we mentioned earlier this week, Sony is teaming up with Walmart to launch a new blue DualSense controller. This color will only be available at Walmart in the US.
