Developers The Game Kitchen, under the supervision of publisher Dotemu, have unveiled a fast-paced, 2D side-scrolling action game titled “NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound“. This thrilling platformer spans approximately 14 minutes.
Here are the latest details, via Dotemu:
Accompany Kumori and Kenji as they make their way through a construction site of a towering building filled with demons. As these ninjas climb the structure’s bare frame, they are persistently pursued by Rhyvashi, the level’s formidable boss, who uses massive attacks to try and prevent their advancement. Players must learn to execute precise moves at the right moments to dodge these attacks while simultaneously defeating enemies.
Following a high-speed pursuit by a bulldozer, the level concludes under ground for a showdown with Rhyvashi. Here, Kumori and Kenji need to strategically time their assaults amidst her barrage of claw attacks, collapsing platforms, and electric projectiles to progress to the next stage.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that this fresh game footage isn’t just about the battles; it also underscores the game’s intricate upgrade and shopping systems. In the shop, I can stock up on Talismans, which are like hidden allies, bolstering my defensive play, or Secret Arts, potent weapons and active abilities that amplify aggressive combat tactics when I’m ready to strike!
In this complete video, you’ll find commentary from The Game Kitchen developers, shedding light on various aspects such as level design, upgrade mechanisms, collectibles, and additional challenges that players can encounter upon the game’s official launch.
