Now, the likelihood of a Direct happening this month has grown after another hint – this time from Sega in anticipation of their presentation at the 2025 Tokyo Game Show.

The absence in 2020 could be due to Nintendo being in the transition period between systems, preparing for the launch of the Switch 2 in June 2023.
