Nintendo has announced a Partner Showcase set for July 31st at 6 AM Pacific Time. Lasting for approximately 25 minutes, this event, dubbed “Direct,” will offer insights into upcoming video games destined for the Nintendo Switch and potential successor, the Switch 2.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that Partner Showcases often highlight games from other developers, so it seems uncertain if we’ll get any updates on the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (recently rated in South Korea). But, there’s an exciting possibility! A new trailer for Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong might make its debut. And guess what? They’ve confirmed a playable demo of it at Xbox’s Gamescom booth from August 20th to 24th!
In a potential development, Playtonic’s revamped version of the 2017 platformer titled “Yooka-Replaylee” might also unveil its release date soon. Additionally, we may catch glimpses of new previews for “Marvel Cosmic Invasion”, “Human: Fall Flat 2”, and “Hades 2” (which recently concluded its final update prior to Version 1.0).
It’s possible that FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Tarnished Edition might get a release date soon, but it’s uncertain if we’ll see a new trailer for The Duskbloods. Keep an eye out for further updates and live coverage during the Partner Showcase.
