A highly-rated Nintendo Switch game is currently available for just $2 on the Nintendo eShop, but the offer ends November 7th. This is the largest discount ever offered for the game – a full 90% off! Because the eShop won’t allow prices to go any lower than $2, this is the best price fans will ever find. While there isn’t a dedicated version for the upcoming Switch 2, owners of the 2025 console will still be able to play it thanks to backward compatibility.
Okay, so as a huge Nintendo fan, I’m super excited about this! Right now until November 7th, Switch and Switch 2 owners can grab *Inside*, which everyone says is an amazing game from 2016, for just two bucks! It’s not a straight-up scary horror game, but if you’re looking for something with a creepy vibe and a lot of suspense to play around Halloween, *Inside* is a fantastic choice.
About the Game
If you’re unfamiliar with *Inside*, it’s the second game developed by Danish studio Playdead, and their most recent release to date. It follows their acclaimed 2010 title, *Limbo*, and was similarly praised by critics upon release. It currently holds a score of 93 on Metacritic and was nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2016. The game also received nominations for Best Narrative and Best Music/Sound Design, while winning awards for Best Art Direction and Best Independent Game. Many consider *Inside* to be one of the greatest games ever made, particularly within its genre.
Inside is a story-focused puzzle platformer where you play as a young boy caught in a strange and unsettling experiment. He’s all alone and on the run. The game blends puzzle-solving with platforming, but it’s accessible even if you don’t usually enjoy those types of games. It takes about three to four hours to complete, which isn’t long, but it’s a powerfully atmospheric and unforgettable experience – more impactful than many longer games.

Both *Inside* and its older brother, *Limbo*, are currently available on the Nintendo eShop for only $2 each! While they aren’t connected story-wise, and *Inside* generally improves on the *Limbo* formula, *Limbo* remains a fantastic game from 2010 – and an incredible value at this price.
