A new game is launching this month that will only be available on the Nintendo Switch. While many games originally made for the older Nintendo Switch have been updated to work on the newer Switch 2 since its release last summer, this is one of the first games created specifically for the Switch 2 to also be playable on the original Switch. This is notable because more people are still using the original Switch than the newer model.
Arc System Worksâ new game, Dear Me, I WasâŠ, will launch on the Nintendo Switch on February 12th and cost $7.99. Itâs also coming to PC and mobile devices on the same day. While it’s a smaller, budget-friendly game, reviews suggest itâs surprisingly good, with a Metacritic score of 76.
Interactive Adventure Game
I’m really excited about this new game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025, called Dear Me, I WasâŠ! It looks absolutely beautiful â the developers are using this gorgeous watercolor art style. From what I’ve heard, it’s an interactive adventure that focuses on the life of a regular woman, showing all the ups and downs and personal growth we all go through. It sounds like a really relatable, down-to-earth story, which is a nice change of pace from a lot of the big, fantastical adventures you usually see in games.
People seem to be enjoying the music and art style shown in the new trailer. One commenter said they liked the music and wanted to see more, while another simply described it as ‘cool’.
Unlike some other stores, the Nintendo eShop doesn’t show user reviews, making it hard to know what players actually think of the game on Switch. The eShop listing does say the game needs 2.1 GB of free space to download, and it’s relatively short, lasting around an hour to complete.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please leave a comment or join the discussion on the ComicBook Forum.
