Nioh 3 demo launches January 29, 2026

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced a demo for their upcoming action RPG, Nioh 3, will be available on January 29, 2026.

Here are the details:

Players can hone their skills in a new demo – either playing alone or with up to three friends online – before embarking on a time-bending quest to save Japan. Plus, your progress in the demo will carry over to the full game, letting you continue your path to becoming Shogun. Stay tuned for more information about the demo’s release.

We’ve announced some extra gifts for players who pre-order the game! They’ll receive special armor sets based on characters from previous titles: the “Youngblood Armor (Samurai)” inspired by William from Nioh, and the “Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja)” modeled after Hiddy from Nioh 2. Players can get these sets by redeeming the pre-order bonus, the “Hellfrost Armor Set,” within the game.

You can now pre-order Nioh 3 as a physical copy or digitally. Digital pre-orders include a Deluxe Edition, and a Season Pass is also available separately. A special SteelBook edition, which includes the game and two exclusive bonus DLC, is also available for pre-order. If you purchase the game early, you’ll receive a bonus available for a limited time on the PlayStation Store and Steam.

Nioh 3 is due out for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on February 6, 2026.
