Following an early leak, Koei Tecmo has officially announced that *Nioh 3* will be released on February 6th, 2026, for both PlayStation 5 and PC. The new story trailer, available below, shows characters fighting for the title of Shogun.
Players can create and customize a character named Tokugawa Takechiyo. They’ll face challenges from rival characters and also have to fight dangerous creatures called yokai, including powerful bosses like Takeda Shingen. You can see a clip of the battle with Takeda Shingen here.
Nioh 3 introduces expansive new levels and lets you fluidly switch between up-close fighting and long-distance ninja skills, making it a significant evolution for the series. You’ll still have access to familiar weapon types and the ability to control Divine Beasts. Team Ninja will be revealing more at a special event during Tokyo Game Show this week, so stay tuned for updates!
